Terry is on the board of Eversheds International. He is admitted as an attorney in South Africa and Lesotho.
Terry has handled many of the largest arbitration and litigation matters in South Africa, including disputes relating to Mossgas, Lesotho Highlands Water Scheme, N3 Toll Road and Platinum Highway. He has dealt with major contracts and arbitrations in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, various European countries, Ghana, Nigeria, Mali, Tanzania, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Zambia. He is a former vice-president for Africa of the London Court of International Arbitration.
Terry is a member of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa, the American Bar Association, and the Construction & Engineering Panel and the Commercial & Appeal Panels of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa.
He has received Best Lawyers of South Africa awards for Arbitration & Mediation, Construction, Intellectual Property, and Litigation in 2009.
