Keith has been involved in large scale banking and commercial related recoveries with special emphasis on liquidations and sequestrations. He is also involved in corporate rescue proceedings and advises on risk profiles as an alternative to liquidation.

His recent experience includes:

• Urgent applications to perfect notarial bonds to obtain possession of movable assets on behalf of banks and institutional lenders prior to liquidation.

• Acting for petroleum companies in liquidations of large mining and transportation companies.

• Assisting clients in large scale, high profile liquidation matters by assessing whether the entity could not be rescued either informally through a creditor workout or through the mechanisms of the Companies Act.

• Advising large blue chip clients on the practical operation of the business rescue provisions in the new Companies Act.

Keith is a member of the Association of Insolvency Practitioners of Southern Africa (AIPSA) and a director and chairman of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).

He has been endorsed by Practical Law Company for Restructuring and Insolvency in 2009 and 2010.
