Practice notes

Hedda specialises in all areas of employment and labour law. She acts for a number of major employers and assists them with all aspects of labour law, these include strike management, restructuring, dismissal advice and she has substantial litigation experience.

Her recent experience includes:

• Obtaining an urgent interdict against employees engaged in unlawful protest action.

• Currently involved in an application against the National Road Freight Bargaining Council seeking to challenge the validity of a court order granting the council jurisdiction.

She is regularly involved in:

• Representing employers at the bargaining councils, CCMA and labour courts.

• Assisting major employers with all aspects of employment issues.

Hedda is a member of the South African Society for Labour Law (SASLAW).
