Simone is part of the firm’s retail sector as a specialist in consumer legislation including the Consumer Protection Act, the National Credit Act and the Personal protection of Information Bill and all associated commercial documentation, product and business process structure, compliance and training in the retail arena.

She specialises in all aspects of commercial and corporate law, company structuring and restructuring transactions, mergers and acquisitions.

Simone’s recent experience includes:

• Giving advice to regulatory bodies and associations in respect of the application of regulatory requirements within the credit industry (particularly microloans)

• Negotiating and finalising mergers and acquisitions for both listed and unlisted company within the construction sector

• Structuring various credit and consumer products

• Assisting in restructuring of business processes

Simone is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars and conducts internal training for clients. She has conducted seminars for:
