Carla has been involved in advising corporate clients, both locally and internationally, on various commercial and corporate law matters and more specifically in the areas of corporate and group structuring, disposals, mergers and acquisitions as well as trade and anti-dumping law.

Her recent experience includes:

  • Acting for a party in restructuring loans with a leading financial institution.
  • Acting for and consulting to the chairman of one of South Africa’s largest BEE companies.
  • Restructuring of Toll Global Forwarding (Pty) Ltd.
  • Acquisition of Coteba, Société par Actions Simplifiée (SAS), of 50% shareholding of IDT Technologies (Pty) Ltd.
  • Acting and compiling industry agreements for one of South Africa’s largest Auction Houses.
Carla is a trustee of The P.E.A.C.E. Foundation, a non-profit organisation established in 1993 to coordinate and develop strategies to alleviate poverty in rural communities within South Africa.
