Dave has wide experience in the various forms of construction dispute resolution including High Court and Appeal Court litigation, arbitration and mediation, and has acted for and against the different disciplines in the construction industry.

He has handled many of the largest arbitration and litigation matters in South Africa, including disputes relating to Mossgas, the electrification of Soweto, the Lesotho Highlands Water Scheme, the Columbus Stainless Steel Project and other major disputes.

Dave’s recent experience includes acting for a large mining company, currently involved in approximately 45 inter-connected litigious matters where the quantum involved is in excess of ZAR10 billion.

Dave is a member of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa. He has received Best Lawyers of South Africa awards for Construction in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
