Johan heads up the firm’s commercial property department and is admitted as an attorney and a conveyancer. He has many years of experience in commercial property transfers, sectional title transfers, conventional property transfers and related registrations and is permanently involved in township development and planning. This has been his special field of practice since 1980. Johan acts for both financial institutions and property developers, and has been a member of the preferred panel of ABSA and Nedbank attorneys for 30 years.
The team of partners who report to Johan are all specialist property practitioners who have been involved in development and planning of residential 1,2,3 industrial and commercial nodes.
In the past two years Johan has been involved in large sectional title developments.
In July 2008 he lodged 1325 linked deeds at the Pretoria deeds office for a development known as Sandhurst Towers, this being one of the largest linked batches at the time.
In March 2009 a further 524 linked deeds were lodged in the same development.
At present Johan is involved in various high rise developments consisting of three buildings of 15 floors and a futuristic development of approximately 52 floors.
