Eversheds acts for Western Utilities Corporation (WUC). WUC is a company that we particularly enjoy being associated with, as it is finding commercial solutions to environmental problems. Specifically WUC is in the process of investigating the feasibility of treating acid mine draining from the gold mines in Gauteng and securing off-take agreements to sell the purified water. It is this type of environmental innovation that defines our environmental team’s focus.
