Introduction
Notaries are admitted by the court under the Attorneys Act 53 of 1979. The office and practice of a notary involves any notarial act or execution which is necessary for the registration in the deeds office or the office of the registrar of mining titles. A notary may produce a certificate of noting on presentation of certain documents, bills of exchange and promissory notes.
